Lets take a look 🔎

A £2.65M Grade II* Listed Five Storey Windmill on the North Norfolk Coast

Cley Windmill, Cley next the Sea, Norfolk | £2,650,000

Cley Windmill is a Grade II* listed tower mill on the northern edge of Cley next the Sea. The listing dates it to the early nineteenth century, with parts of the building going back to about 1713, and it offers nine en suite guest bedrooms in about 0.6 acres. It is currently run as a guest house, restaurant and wedding venue.

The mill rises five storeys, with a balcony at second floor level and a cap gallery at the top. Milling ceased shortly after the First World War, when it was converted to a private house, and it has been a guest house since the 1980s.

The sitting room, dining room and study have exposed beams, brick fireplaces and flint construction, and there is a kitchen and breakfast room and a Miller's Room.

Six of the nine en suite bedrooms are in the mill and adjoining ground floor rooms and three are in outbuildings, with self contained guest rooms and cottages forming a courtyard around the mill.

Outstanding Feature: The working heart of the mill. The main shaft and wheel remain in place.

Outside, the grounds are part formal lawn enclosed by low flint walls and part reed bed sloping down to the River Glaven, with a private timber jetty on the water. There is parking for several cars in the grounds, with further parking on the adjoining common land at the Quay.

Is Social Media Hurting Your Child? Your Family May Qualify

Many parents blamed themselves, or their kids, for the hours lost to the feed. But legal claims allege social media companies built in psychological triggers on purpose: intermittent rewards, endless scrolling, toxic social comparison, and recommendation engines that pull kids into content rabbit holes.

Now families are filing legal claims against platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

You may be eligible if:

  • Excessive social media use started under age 18

  • There was a diagnosis of an eating disorder, severe anxiety, depression, or self-harm

ClaimsHero checks whether you qualify for a claim and gets your family justice. Nothing upfront. We only get paid if your claim is successful.

🏡 A £4.75M Unlisted Former Rectory on 6 Acres in West Ilsley

The Old Rectory, West Ilsley, Newbury, Berkshire | £4,750,000

The Old Rectory is an unlisted period country house in the middle of West Ilsley, believed to date from about 1842. It offers 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 8,954 sq ft in about 6 acres, with high ceilings and a contemporary, stylish interior.

The reception hall and inner hallway lead to an impressive staircase. The drawing room has an open fireplace, a bay window and large sash windows overlooking the formal gardens, and the dining room, study and family room all have French doors to the terrace and gardens, with a library at the rear.

The kitchen and breakfast room has bespoke cabinets, a central island and an Aga range cooker, with space for a large dining table and seating area. There is also a utility room, a boot room, a cloakroom and stairs down to the cellar.

Outstanding Feature: The barn. It has a party room, a kitchen, a shower room and a mezzanine studio.

Upstairs, the first floor has six bedrooms, and the principal suite has a large en suite and dressing room. One further bedroom and bathroom on the top floor are reached by a secondary staircase.

The goat-herding company that hedged a wage law

For US businesses with big payrolls. Western Grazers in California hedged a state wage-law change on Kalshi. If a new rule would raise your costs, you can hold a position that it passes, so the payout offsets the hit. Federally regulated, from a few dollars.
