Lets take a look 🔎
🏡 A £2.5M Georgian Rectory in Haversham
The Old Rectory, Haversham, Buckinghamshire | £2,500,000
The Old Rectory is an early 18th century Georgian house in the Buckinghamshire village of Haversham. Grade II listed, it was extensively renovated and restored, with the work completed in autumn 2023.

A single storey rear extension forms the kitchen and dining space, with a central island, bespoke units, stone worktops, a vaulted beamed ceiling and full height windows. The ground floor also has a boot room and a prep kitchen.

The drawing room has arches, a feature fireplace with wood-burner and double doors to the garden, with a study accessed from both the drawing room and the hallway. The sitting room has dark feature walls, period cornicing, a traditional fireplace with woodburner and French doors to the terrace.

Outstanding Feature: The principal suite, which has its own private staircase from the hallway. It comes with large sash windows, cornicing, a dressing area and an en suite bathroom, and there is a further guest suite with en suite on the first floor.

Outside, a substantial walled garden, mostly lawn, is joined by an orchard, a small woodland area and several terraced seating areas. There are views over open countryside towards a nearby lake, plus a newly insulated timber garage and store and a driveway with parking for several vehicles.

🏰 A £6M Grade II Listed Kent Estate with 13th Century Origins
Hunton Court, Hunton, Maidstone, Kent | £6,000,000
Described as one of Kent's most magical estates, Hunton Court is a Grade II listed house built of ragstone, which the listing describes as unusual for Kent. It offers eight bedrooms, five bathrooms and 16,249 sq ft of living space, set within approximately 10.95 acres.

The house dates to the 13th century and its ecclesiastical origins are still visible. The old chapel forms part of the oldest section of the house, and the attic rooms have a 14th century roof structure with three crown posts. It was remodelled in the 18th century, when it was known as Court Lodge and renamed Hunton Court, and the Bannerman family made it their home from 1850.

Inside, a stone porch leads to a reception hall with tall double oak doors, moulded cornicing and a pair of polished Tuscan columns. Across the hall is a dining room with a large bay window, and a garden room opens onto the pool, terrace and garden.

Outstanding Feature: The hand painted panels in the drawing room, added by the Bannerman family. They are decorated with cherubs, local hops, birds and garlands, and the room's full height sash windows look out over the park.

Upstairs, a cantilevered staircase leads to the principal bedroom, which has a dressing room and views over the lake and parkland, plus a large marble bathroom. On the second floor there are two more bedrooms, a cinema room, a playroom and a studio.

Outside, the gardens include a serpentine lake, with a pool and terrace, set within approximately 10.95 acres. The 18th century parkland and woodland to the south of the house, extending to approximately 120.8 acres, is available separately by negotiation.
